Frequently asked questions
My alarm didn't go off
On iOS 26 and later, Sleep Slope rings through the system's own alarm feature (AlarmKit). It rings regardless of the silent switch or Focus modes, but please check the following.
- That you chose Allow on the alarm permission prompt shown at first launch. If you chose Don't Allow, turn it on under Settings > Apps > Sleep Slope
- That the alarm card's switch is on. A single alarm switches itself off after it rings
- With snooze on, the last alarm rings again every 5 minutes until it is stopped. Tapping “I'm up” on the Lock Screen card, or sliding in the app, ends the rest of that morning
On iOS versions before 26, alarms ring as notifications, so device settings affect them: check that the silent switch is not set to silent, that any active Focus mode lists Sleep Slope under Settings > Focus > the mode > Allowed Notifications, and that Settings > Notifications > Sleep Slope has notifications allowed and Sounds on. In that case the sound stops on its own after a few dozen seconds.
Either way, on days when being late is not an option, use another method alongside it.
Does it ring on Apple Watch?
Yes. On iOS 26 and later, when an alarm rings on your iPhone, a paired Apple Watch rings and taps your wrist as well, and you can stop it from the Watch. There is no Watch app to install and nothing to set up in the app. The Watch just has to be connected to your iPhone when the alarm rings.
- You can't switch alarms on or off or change their time from the Watch. Do that on the iPhone
- If the iPhone is off, or the Watch is out of range of it, the Watch won't ring either
- If it doesn't ring, check that the Watch is on your wrist and unlocked, and that it is connected to your iPhone over Bluetooth
On iOS versions before 26, it reaches the Watch as a notification, so the sound stops after a few dozen seconds.
I bought Pro but it isn't showing up
Open “Upgrade” from the Settings tab and tap “Restore Purchases” at the bottom of that screen. You need to be signed in with the same Apple Account you bought it with.
I want to cancel
You can cancel any time in Settings > your name > Subscriptions on your device. App Store subscriptions are managed by Apple, so we cannot cancel one on your behalf.
I'd like a refund
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple. Please request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
I changed phones and my records are gone
Records and settings are stored only on your device and are never sent to a server, so there is no way to carry them across devices. Sorry for the inconvenience.
